Recent Work

Christine Ford is the 4th generation of her family to be born and raised in the picturesque environment of Banff, Alberta. She was born to an artistic family that supported and encouraged her passion for painting and drawing. Her Grandmother, Jeanette Ford, was her greatest influence. An artist and art teacher herself, she could see Christine’s potential and began to teach and guide her at a very young age.

Growing up in a National Park filled Christine with a deep love and appreciation of nature, which has been a huge influence on her and her work.  She is also an avid animal lover and the personal connection she makes with the animal world is reflected in her art.

Christine's ultimate goal with all her work is showing the beauty, strength and quiet moments of the natural world.
